About the Role

We are looking for an API Developer (Integration Engineer) to design, build, and maintain the integration layer connecting a digital Residents and Tenants Portal with various third-party and enterprise systems.

You will be responsible for developing secure and reliable APIs and middleware that enable key platform capabilities including authentication, e-signature, payments, access control, CRM integrations, and notifications.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and integrations with third-party and enterprise systems.
Integrate with identity and authentication providers to support SSO, 2FA, password reset, and session management.
Define and maintain API contracts using OpenAPI/Swagger.
Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using OAuth2, OIDC, and JWT.
Implement webhook and event-driven handlers for asynchronous workflows.
Develop integration, API, and contract tests and support QA and UAT activities.

Requirements

4+ years of experience in API development, backend development, or integration engineering.
Strong hands-on experience building and consuming REST/JSON APIs in production environments.
Solid understanding of OAuth2, OIDC, JWT, and webhook-based architectures.
Strong proficiency in at least one backend technology such as Node.js, .NET, or Java.
Experience working with API gateways, middleware, message queues, or iPaaS solutions.
Strong understanding of API security best practices, including rate limiting, input validation, and secrets management.
